General Information
Kumamoto University Gene Technology Center (Iden-shi Jikken Shisetu), established in June 1995, aims to promote researches and studies of faculty staffs and students in Kumamoto University using molecular genetic techniques. The Center is located in Honjo campus where Kumamoto University School of Medicine is situated.
The activities of the Center are as follows:

1. Teaching and consulting with a researcher in Kumamoto University about molecular genetic experiments.
2. Providing information, materials and techniques to researchers.
3. Undertaking routine works, such as chromosome mapping and RNA in situ hybridization.
4. Development of new technique related to molecular biology.
